Back with a quick OOTD post, today I've stripped it down to a simple monochrome colour palette; sometimes I like to switch from loud colours to the basic black and white. The top is already 'loud' so I didn't need to add a statement shoe, or accessory. I've teamed it with my chunky Cheap Monday wedges and basic bottoms.

KESH X AMERICAN APPAREL

I've finally purchased something from the Kesh X American Apparel collaboration, LA Based designer Kesh known for her distinctive digital artworks recently launched this capsule collection.

The capsule collection includes jackets, caps, skirts, leggins, mini dress, Y front tops and they're based on Kesh's 2010 art work 'Fetrinite', The collection has been spread far and wide through twitter and instagram with followers and fans of Kesh posting thier own outfit takes on the collection.

I purchased the 'Kesh American Apparel Fine Printed Jersey' from the Menswear range at £40, I'm not one for tight fitting crop tops or leggings, which is why I've opted for the loose tank tops made for the mens range. It features the print on the front while the back is a plain black.

I anticipate myself wearing this with alot of different outifts, the top is s comfortable casual fit with bold print, althought this top is simple in its make, I think it will work well as a statement piece as well, colours such as neon yellow, black, grey, mint green, ochre will compliment the top well.

Bao Bao Bag Pt.2

As I've said in a previous post about the Bao Bao range of bags by Issey Miyake, I'm in love with the bags, but not so much with the prices. I'm not a huge fan of knock offs but in this case I thought I'd buy this particular one.

My bag just arrived today, and I have to say I'm slightly disappointed with it, that is to be expected as it's a knock off so it will not look exactly like the original Bao Bao bags.

The remake bag does feature the mesh fabric on the inside that allows the bag to have the movement and take the different shapes; but the outside shell is what I'm disappointed with, it reflects alot of colours, and this I'm unhappy with because the original bags do not, they are usually matte in colour and if they are not they're a patent material. This isn't too much of an issue but I'd much rather it wasn't like that.

The bag handle is also not as long as I'd like it to be, I prefer my bag handles to be long so the bag can hang on my side, and not right underneath my armpit.

The bag has a zip closure although I'm unsure the real ones also have this and there's a pocket on the inside that can hold a wallet or phone.

It can also lie completely flat and fold into a smaller shapes. Of course I can't really complain, it is a knock off after all and if I want anything like the real thing...then I have to spend £300 on the real thing. It's not too bad of a knock off and I suppose it can pass for the real thing if one does not recognize or know off the Bao Bao bags, but I know I will eventually buy the real thing.

University is fast on it's way and I'm in the process of buying a whole lot of things in preparation for living away from home (whilst studying) and while 90 % of what I'm buying are things for living I have managed to squeeze in some shoes into my buying list.

I was browsing around for ankle strap sandles and I know a black pair are classic but I am obsessed with Mint Green and really wanted a pastel pair, I spotted these lovelies on offer for £9, of course I wanted to pay less for I made an offer of £7 and snagged them! I'm in love, they are leather patent Aqua/Mint, Suede bottom with nude leather straps, I adore the combination of colours and I'm looking forward to wearing them, I know these shoes are more suited to summer, but I'm not one to follow seasons and trends and most likely will just wear with whatever outfits I feel work best and whenever.

I found these Oxblood wedges on TK Maxx, I love the thick wedge and gold studs at the back, I think these will be perfect for Autumn/ Winter but I won't be waiting until then to wear them, I can't wait for them to arrive to rock them out.

I also found chunky wedged heels on Asos for £45.00, they are similar in colour but I'm in love with the thick black heel and of course the colour, I'm so glad I finally have oxblood shoes!

I tend to look for a lot of shoes and accessories on Polyvore and while a lot of people put together outfits, I actually use their product list to find the best selection of shoes, clothes and accessories; both designer and high street, I was browsing and came across and the 'Refraction' bag by brand Melissa ,I was originally going to purchase the black but decided to opt for the white instead, I just feel the white is more suited for me, I LOVE white accessories and bags and love using white accessories within all black outfit. This is not your average back and I'm truly excited to wear it out.

Bao Bao by Issey Miyake

THIS bag I have been obsessing over for a long time and really want to buy. It's the Bao Bao range by Issey Miyake, these bags I feel are fantastic and genius, they come in a range of sizes, colours and styles. The style I'm loving of this bag is the 'Prism' tote bag, the bag is a mesh material on the inside the exterior shell is formed of a small triangular shapes joining to form sqaures, what I love about this bag is the unique shapes it takes when items are placed in the bag, when it's empty it's flat and can be transported, but the small triangular shapes allow the bag to constantly change shape when in use. I love the idea of architectural fashion and this bag encompasses that completely.

Since coming across these I've scoured the internet for a decent price as I would love own one for myself.
